Mather's story and several pictures are included on pages 65-68 in this report, prepared in 2006 by the Public History Program of the University of South Carolina at the suggestion of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. Several Matherites who reside in Camden provided information and are recognized in the Acknowledgements.
