Lulu B. Bryan/W. E. B. Dubois Letters
Three letters between Ms. Bryan and W.E.B. DuBois regarding an invitation for him to speak at Mather in 1946 and 1947. (The amount discussed was $200 -- about $2,600 in today's money.)
Ms. Bryan served as a teacher, principal and superintendent for many years. Students from her era remember Ms. Bryan for her kindness, wisdom and support, which helped shape their lives in positive ways.
